MDNL (Maidenhead and District Netball League)

When you are 14 years old you are eligible to play in adult netball leagues. MDNL play on three nights at Braywick Leisure Centre (OUTSIDE). Mon (Prem & 1st Div), Tues (2nd Div) and Wed (3rd Div).

The winter league usually runs from Sept - Mar and the Summer league from May to July.

Being part of a team does mean regular commitment to play on a Tuesday or Wednesday night for one hour either at 7.30pm or 8.30pm, depending on the schedule.

Winter League Costs

Costs cover all court fees and umpires fees for the season.

'Blue Magnets ' always split the costs between the team members. It usually costs approx £65 - 70 a year to play from Sept to end March

'Magnets -FIRE, ICE & STEEL' Teams - each pay £5 per player per match

Summer League Costs

Each team that enters the Summer League will be liable for additional fees to play.

England Netball Membership

It is a requirement before playing in the league that each player needs to have purchased the England Netball Membership (to cover insurance) via the ENGAGE system.

Teams are normally managed by a parent and the Magnet Netball Club will do their best to provide a coach but it is not a guarantee.
