In addition to the termly training session fees there is an annual membership fee.
Reason for the Fee:
To offer development and more competitive play we need access to independent funds.
Unfortunately the Magnet Leisure Centre do not provide direct funding to the club. Currently all the monies paid to the Magnet for your terms fees goes directly to Parkwood and we have no say or control over how it is used.
An independent membership fee supports the admin costs, equipment, training courses, stars awards, coaching awards, medals, trophies, bibs, hair bands, first aid, thank you flowers, end of term sweets etc. In the past we have had to beg and borrow equipment and even had to recycle trophies as there hasn’t been any money in the pot to buy new ones. This now allows us to have control and make decisions on where the money is spent and how.
This fee is payable, direct to the Magnet Netball Club, by 30th October of each year.
Any new starters will be expected to pay their membership fee within 2 weeks from their start date.
These fees are paid directly to the club account.

But please make sure you add the player’s surname as the reference and print out proof of payment for your own records. If possible please could you email the club’s treasurer, Anne Hopkins and advise her of your transfer.
Cheques can also be used and need to be made payable to ‘Magnet Netball Club’.
These can be handed to your coach in an envelope with your details on the front.
